SPATTRIS 🏆

When Defold launched their annual jam with the theme 'Twist on a Classic', I figured it was time to try a game mechanic I've been imagining for a while—Tetris, but with physical blobs of goo. For fun, I ended up going with a classic Gameboy look and feel. I also wrote a few words on the making of this game.

Alchemania!

A potion brewing game for two players, complete with a companion book we printed out. One player reads the recipe while the other carefully follows along. Harder than it probably sounds.

Snicker Doodles in The Last Laugh 🏆

With 'Make Me Laugh' as the theme for this jam, we made a hot-potato-style-party-game for up to four players, inspired by classic cartoons and that old gag of a bomb suddenly exploding.

Grow Apart 🏆

Cozy yet secretly tense, Grow Apart is a game for two friends/enemies in which players compete to be the first to reach the tall finish line. To do so, they pick up and plant randomly appearing acorns, growing their trees until they eventually get in each other's path.

Loose Threads

A story-driven detective game. You find a board of clues left by your missing spouse and must connect the pieces to unravel the mystery. The game has had quite an audience with itch.io players, who used the comments section to help each other out and solve the puzzle.
